Facebook is very interesting. I am using this to keep in touch with my family oversees. The pictures of my daughter's wedding were uploaded the very next day for those that couldn't attend to share without waiting for us to send hard copies.
It was interesting visiting other libraries facebook pages - looked at Aucklands and you have to opportunity of keeping up with what's happening around the city and what's good with reading.
Sorry forgot to say that, yes I would promote this to customers. Often you see advertising for events etc in to the library and then just totally forget they are on. This would be a good communication tool.
Well into organising school holiday programme and trying to visit every local kindy at present - so keeping myself out of mischief.

Facebook is not everyone's cup of tea. Some of our staff have opted to boycott this task so I'm particularly pleased that you weren't too fussed about it. You know, that's a very practical use for Facebook that I had never contemplated until reading that you uploaded your daughter's wedding pics there ;) Wow you're nearly at the end! all you have to do is complete the online survey and write up your final summary pos :)
